Avalon Cassettes is now on the format it was destined for! In 2011 Jamie released his third full length album, Avalon Cassettes. Recorded predominantly live to eight-track cassette Avalon Cassettes again saw acoustic instrumentation prioritised with liberal use of percussion, found sounds and his unique narratives.

The album is raw and intimate, containing some of his best story-telling songwriting, including tracks like Smoky Dawson and Slack Magic which include the listener into his world. Now back on analogue, 15 years since the original recording. 

This is a super-limited release by Love As Fiction Records, tapes will be on a "Smokey Brown" cassette, with artwork re-styled and laid out for this 2025 cassette by Matt W. Bayes.
