Marlophone is a Sydney based indie rock trio crafting lively, dreamy songs that blur memory and imagination into something immediate and alive. Built on dancing rhythms, feedback washed guitars and singalong harmonies, their sound balances intimacy with scale – music that feels both nostalgic and forward looking.

Their debut album, Remembered Adventures in Widescale, is set for release on 14 August 2026 via Love As Fiction Records (and Defend Vinyl Records in the UK/Europe). The record explores imagination, childhood wonder and the way everyday moments can feel epic when seen through curious eyes. Across the album, Marlophone lean into texture and melody, pairing widescreen arrangements with an emotional directness that invites listeners to slow down and really listen.

The first single from the album "I'm On Your Side" is an artfully abrasive yet polished rock song, with dreamy vocals gliding over the song’s jagged edges. The second, “If We End Up on the Run” is a feedback drenched soundtrack to an escape. Check out the videos below.

Marlophone are Patrick Haid (vocals/guitar), Saskia Clapton (bass/vocals) and Nick Kennedy (drums/vocals). Fans of artists such as DIIV, Wednesday, Elliott Smith and Yo La Tengo will recognise a similar blend of texture, melody and emotional immediacy.
