Steep Hill Climb, the 2nd album by Sydney's Knievel (Wayne Connolly, Tracy Ellis, Nick Kennedy) - originally released in 1998, was an instant classic from the band, the opening track and single "Something Good Must Come" sets the tone for the album, what follows is 10 tracks of melodic guitar pop goodness that will move in and live rent free in your head. 

For this 2025 reissue, Love As Fiction Records is proud to present the album on vinyl for the first time. Band member and renowned engineer/producer, Wayne Connolly, has remastered the album especially for the vinyl format. The artwork for the vinyl release has been restored and updated by Matt Bayes and includes and insert with unseen photographs of the band and the recording of the album from Knievel's personal collection.
