Love As Fiction Records is proud to present, for the first time on vinyl, Revenge Is Slow – the epic 2002 fourth album by Bluebottle Kiss. 

The band has opted to spread the album reissue over three sides to preserve the original album in its entirety and ensure the highest fidelity. This has given space for a fourth side of “bonus” tracks, originally featured on the Ounce of Your Cruelty CD single and The Cutting Room Floor bonus CD from Come Across. The audio was transferred and restored from original tapes in preparation for mastering. 

The album has been remastered and master lacquer cut by Adam Gonsalves (as per the Patient vinyl reissue), with artwork and insert/booklet for the reissue by Ben deHoedt. With promotional vinyl images and t-shirt design by Matt W. Bayes.  The double vinyl album will be pressed at Suitcase Records, Australia. 

“Revenge” will be released on 27 February 2026, with pre-orders available now in strictly limited editions green and black vinyl. Packages also available with an album cover t-shirt.

Recorded by David Trumpmanis at The Sound Basement, Kogarah, Sydney in June 2001 except Ounce Of Your Cruelty, which was produced by Zac and Krevis at Indigo Ranch, Malibu CA, USA in 2000 sometime. Mixed by Tim Whitten at Paradise Studios, Woolloomooloo, Sydney except Peewee’s Dream which was mixed by David Trumpmanis at The Sound Basement. Original tapes baked and transferred to digital at Electric Avenue Studio, Pyrmont. Additional transferring, repairing and sequencing by Chris Colquhuon.
