Bill Nickson is one of those artists we've had on our radar for a while — a quietly brilliant singer-songwriter whose DIY bedroom pop has a way of getting under your skin and staying there. This copy comes to us as part of a record exchange we've set up with Defend Vinyl Records in the UK — we're stocking a selection of their releases here in Australia, and they're carrying some of ours over there. It's exactly the kind of cross-label solidarity we love to be part of.

Defend Vinyl pressed Bill's two beloved EPs, Grave Songs and Thoughts On Love, onto vinyl for the very first time, we made sure to grab copies. Limited to just 100 worldwide, this pressing comes with a full colour printed insert. Across 10 tracks, he moves between tender introspection and understated melodic hooks, the kind of songs that feel like they were written just for you.
