Hailing from Perth, Western Australia, Ammonia (Dave Johnstone, Allan Balmont and Simon Hensworth) burst onto the Australian and International music scene with their breakout debut album Mint 400 on the Murmur (Sony) label in 1995. Singles "Drugs", "Ken Carter" and "Suzi Q" were released and the album in the formats of CD, Cassette and a limited edition vinyl, which is highly sought after by collectors.
Love As Fiction Records has licensed, restored and reissued the Ammonia Mint 400 album on vinyl as well as the album artwork for t-shirts. This special edition Mint 400 t-shirt features a restored original design from 1995, as famously worn by Daniel Johns of Silverchair during their performance on Saturday Night Live
