Hi everyone, welcome to 2024 at Love As Fiction Records. We have a very big year planned, there's a record pre-order due out every month through to April so far.
First up is a pre-order starting 2 February for a reissue of The Panics, A House on a Street in a Town I'm From. Released in 2003, this first album by the Perth band is loved by many of you out there, as with a lot of releases it often starts with a fan suggestion. This one came from an old school friend of mine.
This version will be presented on clear orange vinyl to match the artwork, the tracklist has also been curated (by The Panics) to suit a single LP release of 10 tracks. The album is a limited edition of 300.
It's been a pleasure to work with Pete Carroll, The Panics' manager and original label founder who released the album on CD on the label littleBIGMAN records, in consultation with the band.
I'm excited to bring forth this great album on vinyl, with the pressing available on release date 19 April 2024. As always this will be available on our website and in selected independent record stores across Australia.
